Everyone has a favorite restaurant that conjures up good memories and brings a smile to your face. The kind where the local kids visit after school, when they come home from college those same kids come back to Goodtimes, then those kids have their wedding rehearsal dinners and baby showers at Goodtimes, and one day they bring their own kids to share their memories of Goodtimes, Good Friends, and Good Food. Their hope is to provide more of those full circle moments to their customers. Goodtimes Pizza uses quality ingredients, believes in providing great customer service, supporting the community and hopes to give great family experiences to everyone that comes in. They see all their employees and customers as family. Their daughter and sons work along side of them. They have taken that concept and their local community to heart. Troy and Cinnamon have dreamed of owning a family pizza shop. We believe in full circle moments that happen in life and this certainly was one of them. At the end of 2016, Troy and his wife Cinnamon bought Goodtimes. Troy’s pizza journey also includes a stop along the way working at Goodtimes in Anderson at the age of 16…for Jeanette’s Dad, Charlie. You may recognize him from his welcoming personality if you ever shopped at Winco where he spent 20 years in the pizza department. Troy has worked in pizza for the majority of his life. Troy Parrott came to work for Jeanette in January 2016. Jeanette Axner and her mom opened the Palo Cedro Goodtimes in the current location after renovating the building in 1998. Our building has been home to Junction School, a movie theatre “The Flick”, and Andy’s Hardware Store. The Palo Cedro Goodtimes Pizza & Things is the last remaining of the original pizza shops. The VETS Discount Program, created by NYS Assemblyman Cusick in conjunction with the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, allows for local businesses to offer various discounts to veterans on Staten Island.Goodtimes Pizza had multiple locations in Redding and Anderson decades ago. In honor of Veteran's Day, Assemblyman Michael Cusick, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, and Applebee's will host local veterans to announce their new addition to the VETS Discount Program.11, each Veteran or Active Duty Military who dines with us will receive a $5 Bounceback Card with their meal. In addition, this year Applebee's will be thanking Veterans twice, once with the free meal and, a second time with a $5 Bounceback Card.We use a combination of cheese, not just Mozzarella, to give it that special flavor. We blend our sauce with a combination of seasonings made just for us. We are located in the Green Acres Plaza, and deliver to the Saginaw area. We make our dough fresh, every day in-store. As one of the first and largest national efforts of its kind, Applebee's has served more than 8.3 million free meals to veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day since 2008 and expects to serve close to 1 million more this year. At Good Time’s Pizza in Saginaw, we make our pizzas with only the freshest of ingredients.This year Applebee's celebrates its 10 th anniversary of honoring America's veterans and active-duty military by offering them a free meal on Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, 2017.They want you to enjoy a fantastic meal with your family & friends. Good Times Pizza and Things aim for customer satisfaction with every meal ordered. You’ll notice a big difference between a small mom & pop pizza parlor and the large chain pizzerias. At the Applebee's located in Graniteville Staten Island Girl Scouts return to hand deliver hand made thank you notes to Veteran's and active-duty military.
